Sphenoid sinus

Hollowed out in the body of the sphenoid bone, the sphenoid sinus has an irregularly cubic shape. The medial wall is the natural continuation of the nasal septum, the upper wall houses the pituitary gland, within the sella turcica, the optic chiasm and the anterior cerebral arteries.
